Mid-Continent Public Library

In Kansas City, Missouri, A historic local library was threatened by foundation settlement.

Managers of the Mid-Continent Public Library began to notice settlement issues that couldn't be overlooked. Over time, the foundation had weakened, causing the library's walls to lose integrity. The historic site was desperately in need of repairs, so the managers contacted KC Ram Jack. Although plans had to slightly be modified, Ram Jack was able to fully and permanently stabilize the structure. In all, a total of 26 piles were installed externally, and the southwest corner was lifted 1.5 inches. In addition, due to Ram Jack's non-invasive methods, the library remained open to the public during the repair process.
