New Construction Helical Piles Provide Stable Foundations for Modern Townhouses

In Houston, Texas, the construction of 37 houses in the Perry Homes East End district came to a grinding halt. 

Much to their dismay, contractors discovered the soil on-site was not stable enough to build on.  What they wanted and needed was an efficient, permanent and minimally-invasive stabilization plan; so, they contacted Ram Jack Texas.  Working alongside the project’s contractors, Ram Jack designed a foundation solution using helical piles. During the repair phase, Ram Jack worked quickly, managing to install 21 piles for a single home in just one day.  In all, over 700 piles were installed at an average depth of 35 ft. to support the new homes, providing solid foundation support.  In the end, project managers of the Perry Homes were thoroughly pleased with Ram Jack’s work, resting assured that the new homes would be stable for decades to come.
